Mission Statement

The staff of Scoil Mhuire gan Smál, in partnership with parents, guardians and Board, undertake to educate our children to their fullest potential, recognising and appreciating their diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. We aspire to provide an environment where Christian values are fostered, where the children feel happy and secure, where they respect themselves and others and where each child feels equal and valued.

Aims:

To encourage our children to develop their talents and self-confidence while retaining their individuality by means of the curriculum and extra curricular activities.
To provide support where possible.
To foster a pride and consciousness in our Christian Values and Irish Heritage.
To develop social and communication skills.
To develop civic spirit, through honesty, openness and co-operation, and an awareness of the needs of others.
To promote a healthy respect for the Environment.
