The staff of Scoil Mhuire gan Smál, in partnership with parents, guardians and Board, undertake to educate our children to their fullest potential, recognising and appreciating their diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
Music is the heartbeat of Scoil Mhuire gan Smál! We have the most amazing staff and together we do all we can to nurture a love of music in our pupils.
Our school underwent a major building project in 2010-2011. While we remain a sixteen-classroom school, we gained eight newly-built classrooms and the original sixteen classrooms were re-aligned into eight.

ANNUAL ADMISSION NOTICE: Scoil Mhuire gan Smál Carlow will begin accepting applications for the school year 2022/2023 from Thursday, January 13th to February 3rd 2022. Application for admission can be obtained via email from the school (smgscarlow@gmail.com) and must be completed and sent back to the school no later than 3 pm on Thursday, February 3rd 2022.
